For USDA AMS to consider an R&P Program, they must receive a comprehensive justification for a national program as well as substantial industry support. Industry support is needed from not only commercial grapevine nurseries, but also grape grower organizations, individual growers, grape processors (grape juice, raisins, wine) as well as those in related fields such as grape service providers and product suppliers, researchers, educators and extension specialists.
